My Experience
I design e-commerce experiences that move real money at real scale — across two very different worlds: consumer beauty and enterprise cloud software.
At AWS Marketplace, I led UX for AWS Marketplace Local Currency, a global internationalization platform enabling enterprise buyers to transact in local currency across six currency zones. It generated more than $1B in lifetime contract value — proof that reducing friction through design directly changes enterprise buying behavior. The work was presented on the main stage at AWS re:Invent 2024 to 60,000+ attendees and 2.5M+ YouTube views.
I also led design for the AWS Marketplace Self-Service Listing platform, cutting seller listing time by 90%, earning Amazon's AWSome Builder Award, and in 2025 led Multi-Product Solutions, a product bundling capability for AWS Partners and sellers, presented at AWS re:Invent 2025.
Before AWS, I spent 4 years as lead UX designer at The Estée Lauder Companies, designing AI-powered consumer experiences — recommendation engines, AR virtual try-on, voice/chatbot interfaces — ahead of the AI-UX curve. When COVID shut down retail, I led the digital pivot that brought Estée Lauder's high-touch experience online: virtual try-on used 1M+ times globally, contributing to a 60% increase in digital sales and a 10x lift in conversion. I also led the MAC Cosmetics global website redesign across 14 markets and ran A/B tests that added $340K in annual revenue from an iteration.

More About Me:
I have been living and working in New York for 11 years after I got my master’s degree in Graphic Design from the Savannah College of Art and Design. Before that, I studied printmaking at Xi’an Academy of Fine Arts in China. When I'm not designing, I'm usually outdoors — snowboarding, golf, or just exploring.
